A little inspiration from Christopher Walken

Christopher Walken reads The Raven - YouTube

(I prefer to just listen, but the images might increase the dreariness/enjoyment/immersion for others.)

I very much like Lou Reedā€™s version, ā€œsungā€ by Willem Dafoe. (Note that this is Lou Reedā€™s text and text isnā€™t exactly like the original.)

Wow, thanks! I didnā€™t know this version.

Lou Reed Ć nd Willem Dafoe. Just, wow.

And then of course there is this reading by Sir Christopher Lee, with amazing etchings to accompany his voice. Be sure to turn it up to fullscreen and volume11.

I love that whole album.

It is the one that hooked me to audio dramas.

You canā€™t beat The Alan Parsons Project version off their first album ā€˜Tales of Mystery and Imaginationā€™. Originally released in 1976 and remixed in 1987.

Hmm, clearly the school of English, not the school of capitalisation and punctuation. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:
