I just downloaded the Windows executable file of 2112 - Details (ifdb.org). When I start it up, it says that one or more components are missing.
Does this mean I need to download all the separate files on the IFDB-page too?
Judging by the readme file, you need to download a chunk of them. There’s a mandatory directory structure, too, that needs to be recreated. It looks like the .wav files are optional, though.
Woof, talk about a game that cries out to be packed in a single downloadable .zip file.

The IF Archive probably has a zip file containing all the 2001 IFComp games, including this one!
